ABOUT JANÉE!

I have expertise in social media platforms such as Blogger, Wordpress, Instagram, Twitter, Google +, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn for both personal and business accounts. I am also proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, and currently expanding my skills in Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. I have been able to use these skills at my current job as well as in school and my personal life.

A few years ago, I started a blog of my own and it has been a wonderful journey. Writing and curating the content for my blog has allowed me to express myself creatively as well as utilize the skills I have learned in school. Through my blog I have been able to create a network of my own, engage with like-minded individuals, and generate a community for others like me. My blog focuses on fashion, beauty and lifestyle, but ultimately it is a platform for women to extract inspiration and build confidence.

I am the manager and creative content curator for Meow and Barks Fashion Boutique and I have five years experience writing for fashion focused platforms. My work has been published on small traffic sites such as The Mouthing Off Blog and Goddess Culture.

My goal is to combine my public relations skills and knowledge with my love for fashion and beauty. With the rise and influence of digital and social media, I hope to continue creating content that will both reflect the things I love and inspire others on modern platforms.
